The safety rope requires a diameter greater than 16mm, with no uneven diameter, twisting, strength, or knotting along the entire length, and is easy to process and tidy, making it economical. The commonly used structures include:
1. Three strand twisted rope (three strand nine flower rope): composed of three twisted strands twisted in the opposite direction to the rope, this is a method of twisting the rope without changing the twist.
2. Four strand twisted rope (single rope four strand rope): Using four strands of wire, with one core rope sandwiched between them, twist them into a rope without deformation. The outer circumference of this rope is approximately circular compared to a three strand twisted rope, and the core rope is not clamped when making thin ropes.
3. Duo Hua Rope: Three strands of twisted rope are used as strands and then twisted into a rope, but it is now rarely used.
4. Six strand twisted rope: Six strands of wire are sandwiched with a core wire of the same diameter and twisted together to create a structure similar to that of a steel wire rope. However, when all fibers are used, they will deform during use, so this method is rarely used.
5. Braided rope: It is made by weaving the same number of S-twisted and Z-twisted strands diagonally crossing the length direction of the rope. Compared with twisted ropes, it has the characteristics of no knots and the end of the rope is not easily loosened.
